1. What is a Pachislo slot machine?  

Pachislos are authentic Japanese gaming machines used in international casinos. In Japan, casinos can only use the machines for 2 years before pulling them from the floor, regardless of their condition. Even though they are allowed up to 2 years of use, this is not always the case. The casinos will periodically pull them and offer the slot machine for sale to replace them with newer titles. Consequently, some machines are practically brand new when you receive them. Pachislos have a fantastic reputation of being high quality, backlit machines, with brilliant flashing lights and electronic sounds. When new, these machines cost over $3500.

2. What does "Skill Stop" mean?  

Skill Stop refers to the function of the reels on our machines. You control when each reel stops by pushing a button for each reel, adding an element of skill to the game. This differs from the typical "one arm bandit" where you pull a lever and the reels stop automatically, with no skill involved whatsoever.

3. What is a Push-n-Play machine? 

Push-n-Play machines were developed for customers who would rather not bother with coins or who live in states which do not allow for the sale of skill stop slot machines, including: California and Oregon.  Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana and Montana will not allow any form of Skill Stop Machines and therefore we will not ship to the state.  Push-n-Play Slot Machines have been factory modified not to accept tokens, coins or credit of any kind.  Instead, the player simply pushes the lever to begin play.  The Push-n-Play line still allows the user to control when each reel stops, adding an element of skill to the game.

4. How is the Factory Reconditioning performed? 

Upon arrival from the Japanese Casinos to the refurbishment facility, the transformation to showroom quality conditioning begins.  The process begins by removing the hardware and preparing the cabinet for surface restoration. Small cracks or dents are filled and sanded for a smooth and uniform painting surface. A high quality primer and paint is used to restore the cabinet to like new condition. The electrical system is overhauled to make sure the machine conforms to USA power standards. Next, the overall machine function is tested and tuned. After testing and adjusting, the machine is cleaned and lubricated. The cleaning solutions are the best in the industry which ensure all blemishes are removed, and our high grade detailing wax is applied to restore the original shine from the factory. Once the machine passes the cleaning process, the final check for function, sound and lighting is performed and inspected. The final step is to shrink-wrap and carefully package the unit to keep dust or dirt from entering. At this point, the machine has been completely refurbished and is sent to the shipping department where they await orders for shipping. Although the machines are brought as close as possible to showroom specs, there may be slight indications of previous wear from their former life in the casinos. We try very hard to keep any indications of wear to a minimum and only offer the best and closest to showroom quality.

5. What kind of warranty comes with the Skill Stop Machines?  

Except where indicated, each machine we offer comes with a 2 year warranty that covers everything on the machine except the light bulbs. The warranty does not cover damage from fire, water, lightning, any other acts of nature or dropping the unit. Please note the warranty is to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless special arrangements are made at the time of purchase and noted as such. Keep your proof of purchase, the manual, box and high density foam for return shipping of the machine. Proper packaging is crucial in the unlikely event your machine needs to come back to us. Damage from improper packaging on returned machines will be the responsibility of the purchaser, which is why the original packing is so important. We do not cover the bulbs with the warranty but they are readily available at your local Radio Shack or can be purchased from us. These machines are very durable and built for heavy casino use and should last a lifetime with proper care and use.

6. What is your Return Policy? 

At GetSlotMachine.com, we realize that all sales may not be final. If a customer makes a purchase and wishes to return the product, he/she has 30 days to do so. We must be notified of the return within the first 30 days of the product leaving our warehouse. There are some guidelines to follow when deciding to return a product.

1. Closeout items are unable to be returned.

2. If a product has been used, even if it was only one time, it cannot be returned.

3. If a customer receives defective merchandise, he/she can only exchange it for a similar product of equal or lesser value.

4. If a product is returned and there is no exchange, a 15% restocking fee will be charged.

If a product arrives damaged, GetSlotMachine.com must be notified immediately. Once we are notified, a claim will be placed with UPS. Once the claim has been resolved, the product will need to be sent back and the replacement will be sent out. All orders must be inspected BEFORE accepting the shipment. If you sign for a shipment without inspecting it thoroughly and it is damaged, GetSlotMachine.com will not be responsible for replacing the product. Signing for a shipment without noting damage on the Bill of Lading is stating that the shipment was free from damage and in perfect condition. ALL Freight deliveries must be inspected, no matter how large the order or product is.  This policy protects both the customer and GetSlotMachine.com.  There are no exceptions to this policy. In the rare event that the wrong product is shipped, it will need to be sent back to us. If this is the case, GetSlotMachine.com must be notified immediately. The customer will need to pay for the return Ground shipping but will be reimbursed up to the amount originally paid once the product has been received. We recommend returning the product with a carrier that offers a tracking number. We are not responsible for returns that do not arrive to the warehouse. Costs will only be reimbursed if the customer is exchanging it for another product. If there is no exchange, then there will be no refund of return shipping.

7. What are your shipping options? 

 

GetSlotMachine.com uses only UPS to ship our products.  UPS Ground is our choice but 3-day select, 2nd day air or next day saver can be used in some circumstances, incurring additional shipping charges.  UPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes, so keep this in mind before ordering.  

 

8. When will my order ship? 

 

Orders usually ship between 2-3 business days with UPS Ground shipping.

* During periods of high volume, such as holiday seasons, allow 4-5 business days for an order to ship UPS ground.

* If you need a package to arrive by a specific date, we can make special arrangements for UPS 3-DAY SELECT, UPS 2ND DAY AIR, OR UPS NEXT DAY SAVER, to ensure delivery on a specific date.  These methods will incur additional shipping charges.

Transit time begins by counting the next business day, not counting Saturdays and Sundays, or major holidays. For example, if an order is sent via UPS Ground, and ordered on a Monday, it should arrive on Friday.

UPS orders with Ground service do not have shipping priority, and do not have a guaranteed shipping date.

Deliveries to states outside the 48 contiguous states do not have specific guaranteed transit times.

9.  Why are your Slot Machines so cheap compared to others?

Our Slot Machines are the same average size as the United States casinos and contain first-rate Japanese electronics. The great prices are due to the fact that Japanese casinos are required to replace their machines after only a few years of use. United States casinos are not bound to the same restrictions, which makes their used slot machines much harder to obtain. Since we are able to purchase the Skill Stop Slot Machines at great bulk prices, we can transfer the savings to you.  On average, our Slot Machines are 5 times less than comparable Las Vegas or Atlantic City units. 

10.  What language do the LCD Slot Machines speak?

Because these slot machines were manufactured for Japanese and International Casinos, the congratulatory messages were spoken and remain in the Japanese language.  Most customers questioned found the messages to be very entertaining. However, if you are not interested in a slot machine that celebrates in Japanese, please refrain from the LCD models.
